As part of an ongoing effort to promote Doma Vaquera, we are encouraging
enthusiasts to organise these Doma Vaquera Fiestas which can be held on
a less formal basis than a traditional training
clinic, with the emphasis being on fun as well as training.
In Spain, Doma Vaquera enthusiasts are able to hold these local events
regularly and take advantage of the opportunity to demonstrate their skills,
exchange ideas and enjoy the local food and wine, all to the inspiring
sound classical Spanish music.
This is your chance to attend the first DomaVaquera.Info Fiesta to be
held in the UK which is being hosted by leading UK Doma Vaquera expert
and professional horse trainer, Peter Maddison-Greenwell of El Caballo
de España.
Doma
Vaquera Fiesta
Forget about the British Summer (or lack of it). Lets
create our own sunshine at the Doma Vaquera Fiesta, which is being
hosted by El Caballo de España, protected from the elements
in their indoor school at their professional training centre in
Northamptonshire, UK.
Peter Maddison-Greenwell, founder of El Caballo de España
has kindly offered to host the first UK Doma Vaquera Fiesta for
those who wish to bring their horses for the day and participate
in the activities, have fun and be prepared to learn something
new.
The emphasis for the day is fun, fun and more fun through the
enjoyment our own horses and each others company. Everyone will
have a chance to show what they can do with their horses whilst
at the same time having the opportunity to learn more about Doma
Vaquera as Peter will be on hand to provide training.
This is your chance to learn more about Doma Vaquera, some of
the techniques used and how to train your own horse. There will
be demonstrations of Doma Vaquera throughout the day with plenty
of Spanish music to add to the atmosphere. Have you ever wanted
to learn how to use a garrocha? Come and learn.
Interested? All those attending must
book in advance on a first come first served basis as spaces
for spectators and riders are limited.
Bring some food and drink that can be shared with others at the
buffet.
