Below is a selection of photos of graded Andalusian Stallion Carcelero II going through his paces with his rider, Rosemary Adamson.
Although initially trained in Spain in Doma Clasica (High School) and attending many Ferias in Seville, Carcelero is now training in Doma Vaquera. Many of the techniques used in his Doma Vaquera schooling have been studied from the Spanish video set, A La Vaquera.
Carcelero II was imported into the UK from Spain in 1997 after a life long ambition to own a flamboyant Andalusian stallion reminiscent of the one ridden by, El Rejoneador, Don Alvaro Domecq.
Carcelero II enjoys his work, and thrives on having an enthusiastic audience. If left to his own devices, he performs piaffe, passage and Spanish Walk in rhythm to Spanish Music!
